Rental terms
Booking, deposit, collection, return and cancellation terms.
These terms apply between Elit Kayak Spor Malzemeleri Gayrimenkul Limited Şirketi ("Elit Kayak Evi") and the person renting equipment ("Renter").
Booking and deposit
- An online booking is confirmed when a deposit of 30% of the total rental price reaches our IBAN within the stated time.
- Bookings whose deposit is not paid in time lapse automatically and the equipment is released.
- The balance is paid when the equipment is collected.
Collection and ID
- Equipment is handed over on presentation of a valid ID (national ID card, driving licence or passport).
- The Renter checks the equipment on collection and reports any issue immediately.
Use and liability
- Equipment is used only at ski resorts and for its intended purpose.
- The Renter looks after the equipment during the rental. For damage or loss beyond normal wear, the cost of repair or replacement is the Renter's.
- Skiing and snowboarding involve risk. The Renter uses pistes suited to their level and follows piste rules.
Return
- Equipment is returned on the booked return day before the shop closes.
- Each extra day of late return is charged at the daily rental price.
Cancellation and changes
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the rental starts receive a full deposit refund.
- For later cancellations the deposit is not refunded, but the dates can be changed once.
- If the resort is fully closed because of weather, the rental can be moved to another day.
