Why Konaklı?
Konaklı is usually quieter than Palandöken on weekdays. With snowmaking on every piste, conditions stay consistent even in lean snow periods. The race pistes suit advanced skiers and the roughly 1.1 km beginner piste suits first-timers.

There are very few independent rental shops at Konaklı. Collecting your gear in Erzurum city centre the evening before is cheaper and simpler.
